These films are, well, highly recommended. Not my absolute favorites but still meeting a high bar. Think 2001: A Space Odyssey or Ace in the Hole.

These films are films I like but don’t love. They are not bad by any means; they just didn’t strike my fancy in the same way the higher categories did. Think 42nd Street or The Adventures of Robin Hood.

These are the films that just didn’t leave as much of an impression on me as others on the Registry. That’s not to say that they are bad, but rather that I’m fairly ambivalent toward them. Think The African Queen or Bambi.

These are films that I will never watch again unless I am under duress. Again, that’s not to say that these are bad films necessarily, but they caused me to feel distaste, disgust, anger, or overpowering boredom that I don’t wish to re-experience. Ahem, Annie Hall or Foolish Wives.
